All the designs I am considering entering for the Project: Rooftop challenge.
Explanations: 1. I wanted to really emphasize Wolverine's weird physical build here. Like a real wolverine, Logan is short, weird, and mean. The leather mask is (in my opinion) an improvement over his usual spiked mask, in that you can see how it works, and what it's made out of. I wanted to emphasize that as well with his costume, with as little "mystery spandex" costuming as possible.
I added explanations for some of the more confusing parts of the costume afterwards.
2. This is a really fun costume design, sort of a Wolverine circa 1978, patrolling the docks. I love the normal clothing + mask aspect of it, and the 70s colors, but I don't know if it's enough of a uniform to make a solid entry.
3. The inspiration this time is a sort of J-punk aesthetic, I guess. No mask, and longer weirder hair. The jacket has the stripes typical of his previous uniforms, and I managed to show off his wrists, which I like for formal and conceptual reasons. My fave part is the obi-style belt. I worry about this being a little too far from the original costumes, but sometimes that's the way to play it.
I love that second one as well. Maybe even more than the first one. The trouble is that it has very little "costume" to it. I love the idea of a Wolverine-style hero who cleans up the streets with just a homemade mask and pea coat.

Even though the third makes him look a little like a yakuza.
