After finishing the X-Men, I thought it might be fun to do a few of their villains.

The Brotherhood (of Evil Mutants) is reimagined as the Kyoudai.

The Sannin Kyoudai is one of the top mercenary teams in Japan. The three-man group is made up of truly unusual and dangerous characters. Older brother Kaeru is the brains, middle brother Futo is the brawn, and younger brother Houkama is the charming face of the team. Kaeru is cunning and his small size belies his strength. He is an incredibly capable swimmer due to his powerful legs. Futo was a star sumou before allegations of match-fixing drove him to crime. His massive bulk is his greatest asset in a fight, and he's able to move with surprising grace and speed when necessary. Handsome young Edo fireman Houkama was a garden-variety pyromaniac in secret until he joined the Kyoudai. Now he utilizes his knowledge of arson to aid his brothers.

The three members of the Kyoudai act as though they are truly brothers, though they are unrelated by blood. They quarrel at times, but their bond is deeper than loyalty, for they are kindred spirits.
