After finishing the X-Men, I thought it might be fun to do a few of their villains.

Sabretooth is reimagined as Byakko.

Like Mujina, the man called 'Byakko' is a former member of the clandestine Manji-kai. Byakko grew up alone in the wild forests of the north, contesting with savage beasts for his very survival. This unusual childhood left him with a psychopathic bloodlust, and prepared him well for his eventual recruitment.

Byakko wields a cursed nodachi called Kemonokiba (Beast Fang) that was bonded to him through the same process that Mujina went through. The fiendish blade will not allow him to die as long as he keeps it fed with human blood.

When they worked for the Manji-kai, Byakko and Mujina were inseparable. Byakko was like an older brother to Mujina, and through a hundred bloody missions they carved a crimson path across the country. All that changed when Mujina suddenly disappeared after one of their missions. Byakko lost the only family he'd ever known that day, and he left the organization in a rage, determined to track down Mujina and pay him back for his betrayal.
