Kotengu is the code name of Nobu Akamori's most recent recruit, the mischevious young Tsutomu Daiku. He works closely with Kōmori Yasha, so that Lord Akamori might train him in the ninja arts.

Though the orphaned son of a wealthy family, Tsutomu is a child of the streets. He has many useful contacts among the lower class children of Osaka.

He is extremely clever and intelligent, but has a slight tendency to show off when it's not necessary. He is highly skilled with the bō, but is the least powerful of the Kōmori clan in combat. He must often use his brains to make up for this.
